About CGR Business Solutions

CGR Business Solutions is owned by Chris Gough, who provides companies of all sizes with professional business advice, ranging from smaller start ups to large scale companies. He can assist with overall business management and business growth, he works with grants and can offer support with tenders. Chris has over 30 years experience in IT and management and is affiliated with many different businesses, including Elysian Creative. The project set out in this case study was commissioned by CGR Business Solutions on behalf of the Marches Growth Hub, who asked them to supply promotional materials for one of their initiatives for businesses, called ‘Step Up to Grow’.

 

The Product

Chris asked us to create a document containing all information regarding the Marches’ ‘Step up to Grow’ programme. The brief was to take previously written content and put this into a format that could be easily accessed online. We recommended using a multi-page PDF document, to give all text enough space to be legible and easy to skim. The colours used in the document, along with the grounded shapes, were based on the Marches Growth Hub Logo. Choice of fonts was also based on existing promotional materials, to ensure this would be on brand and easy for users to recognise. Finally, photography was selected based on the expected target audience, reflecting genders, age and diversity.

After a set of small tweeks, the pdf was launched online and added to a website. Smaller jpgs (last image in the gallery) were created to promote this within Linkedin and other suitable platforms to ensure maximum visibility for the page.
